Authentication

Create your Instructionly account, sign in securely, and learn how to recover access if needed.

Creating an Account

1. Visit app.instructionly.io
2. Click Sign Up
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a verification link
5. Click the verification link
6. Set your password (must include uppercase, lowercase, number, and 8+ characters)

Google Sign-In

You can also sign up or sign in using your Google account for faster access. Simply click the "Continue with Google" button on the sign-in page.

Two-Factor Authentication

If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on your account, you'll need to enter a verification code after entering your password:

1. Enter your email and password as usual
2. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
3. Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app
4. Optionally check "Don't ask for a code on this device for 7 days" to trust your device
5. Click Verify & Sign In

Onboarding

After your first sign-in, you'll complete a brief onboarding process:

1. Account Type — Choose Individual or Organization
2. Personal Information — Enter your name and optional details (organization name, job position, phone)
3. Attribution — Tell us how you heard about Instructionly (optional)
4. Recovery Security Code — Save your 12-character recovery code securely

Password Recovery

If you forget your password:

1. Go to the Sign In page
2. Click Forgot password?
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for the reset link
5. Set a new password

Account Recovery

If you've lost access to your email:

1. Go to the Sign In page
2. Click Lost access to your email?
3. Fill out the recovery form with:
   • Your full name
   • Organization name (if applicable)
   • Account email
   • New contact email
   • Your recovery security code
   • Additional information
4. Solve the CAPTCHA verification
5. Submit the request

Our team will review your request and contact you at the new email address.

Password Requirements

Your password must meet the following requirements:

• At least 8 characters
• One uppercase letter
• One lowercase letter
• One number
